Hair catching the light in blended ways
The combination of balayage highlights on brown hair can have vary in so many styles; per placement of bleach on the hair, amount of highlights, and the color combination chosen. Ultimately, balayage highlights look great on brown hair!
For those of you who don’t know what balayage mean; it’s a stoke like motion (feathering) the bleach on the hair. This type of hair highlighting creates a soft transition of 2 or more hair colors blended together (ex. brown hair to blonde hair).

Whether it’s your all over brown color or added lowlights, the contrast between the balayage highlights and brown hair color make the highlights pop! The balayage technique doesn’t create harsh lines in comparison to thick traditional foil highlights so the look is easy on the eyes. Some people prefer a tapered color from dark to light, or as your highlights grow out, and balayage will create that look for you!
